bucket list & avatar

Watched these 2 movies last night with hubby and friends Sherwin and Maggie. Love it so much that I slept and woke up pondering about many things in my life now. It's too inspiring. made me strum my guitar first thing today, sang with my little 2 year old, not worrying about the million things I must do to earn money and achieve some dreams. I prayed. Asking for His grace to guide me. Give me wisdom to make the right choices. Not necessarily "good" choices as the world knows. But the "right" ones according to God.

Then I read some inspirational email (I love these emails sent by a friend, Sookie) and this is what I got:

"At the end of the day—in this all-too-short life we all share, all we really have are relationships with people we love and who love us. In light of relationships, the job and career we set as goals now aren't really so important; the ladders we try to climb don't matter so much; the objects we long to possess seem utterly trivial. What really matters in the end is that special look that you share with your spouse, the arms of your child reaching up to you, the quiet comfort of being with a friend who stands by your side in a difficult time."

Now that my perspective is more or less ok :) I'm empowered and feeling energized to finish this:

...a Christmas mini book for my September class @ MWL :)and I will use this in one of the pages:

So many good things are happening this coming Christmas time. I can hardly wait!!!

6 weird things about me

Tagged by momoftwo, my official reminder if my blog becomes idle hahaha. Thanks mama Maps. anyway, these are the things that separate me from others hehe ..

this is the way i start a good day, preparing a list =)

  1. i can not function well, if i don't have my 'to-do' NOTEBOOK with me. i gotta WRITE anything down before i can DO it. I just love the feeling of putting a TICK to even the simpliest task such as praying. what dah! even the things i pray for, LISTED. when you go to our house, there are a lot of things being listed everywhere wahaha. then, at the end of the day, when i did all these (sometimes not all hihihi) i put a smiley on top of the page, and i then retire peacefully, then repeat the same thing the next day. otherwise, expect a grumpy, scatteredbrain Bebang.
  2. i don't watch horror flicks.. i don't listen to horror talks.. huhuhu please, change the topic.
  3. i never watch the same movie twice. promise.
  4. i hate songs with repetitive lyrics. so dislike repeats. sulit sulit sulit sulit. amo man gyapon. grrr.
  5. i collect paper bags and would kill for them. okey super exaaage. but please believe me. its among the things that will take my blues away. the first i packed for my 'married life' trip was my paper bags. now, these have a special place in our house. so friends, just in case, my birthday's in a few days. i won't really mind if you send me some ehehe.. thank you na daan ha =)
  6. ari na. hambal ni anne2 indi ko ni di ibutang. but im an honest gal y'know.. here goes............ i hate to admit it. pano nalang akon dignity! ang akon korona! wahahaha.. but nothing's more weird than liking the smell of your f*rt... i just love it! wahahaah.. soweee.
now, that i have revealed a dash of my private- embarrassing-yuckie weirdness to you, you have no choice coz you are tagged. go!

can a man confront the forces of darkness without giving in to them?

Last Monday we had a four-ple date with our friends! Odick and Chy, Myk and Kim, Nikky and Leany, Benjo and me. Benjo and I seldom watch movie. As far as i can remember, the last we saw was "you are the One" of Toni Gonzaga and Sam Milby hehehe. We prefer DVDs at home for we couldn't afford 500+ bucks/date...it's worth a week of my son's formula! Konsensya kun maglantaw eh! =) But i think its better that way, because going to cinemas very rarely makes us VALUE the experience more. I was so excited to go, as if we were going to Disneyland (ngek. as if i knew the feeling haha, wala pa gani ko kadto to!) hehe.

How was it? hMMMN. not as good as Spidey 2. But i still recommend that you see it. Let your kids see it too. the thing i like about the movie is its giving value to FREINDSHIP, FORGIVENESS, LOVE. I was also reminded to always be PATIENT (my struggle) ... to always give the "benefit of the doubt" .. that in everything there is a reason, that behind every bad person lies that goodness, and that AT ALL TIMES we all have a CHOICE... to do right... hmnnn.

Bottomline, it was one experience 500+ can't buy... and i guess, guys? there's no more Spidey 4 =)... guess lang.
