The Cup Song (taking a break from scrapbooking posts!)

I'm just a wife trying to impress her husband (the one taking the video) but gets too distracted and couldn't finish the song hahaha!

... LOL! far from perfect but I had fun learning this* today.  Now I have a talent to show when we go to those children's party where the host would always say, "Bring me your singing Mommy!" hahaha joke :D

*heard this first from Hannah Pangilinan then from Ana Kendrick (Perfect Pitch). If you want to learn this, just search from youtube there are so many tutorials going on out there!

what happened to me?

I seem to have already forgotten how to blog.

(silence)

Help!

(silence)

(more silence)

Oh dear. (Not even my own. It's my son's fave expression lately).

I'll be back tomorrow. Maybe something will come out of this brain.

Goodnight. I miss you all.
Love,
Gen

(sigh)

twas a fun night!

A simple card to say THANK YOU to all of you who "liked" my entry for American Crafts challenge!

I had so much fun with my sisters last night via skype, while we helped each other campaign for  more votes! Couldn't stop laughing! (HAHAHHAAHAHAHAH! Now I'm laughing again!). I never hoped to win the challenge coz earlier that day I was way behind the one leading the race. But when the votes started coming in, I got excited!!! Until everyone in the family, my friends, my relatives all got excited too!!! I wish you could imagine what I mean here hahahaa....

So after 3 hours of getting everyone to vote, I won the challenge!

THANK YOU SO MUCH!

Especially to: Dit2 and Che sa pag pulaw kampanya, Papang and Badilla Clan (hahhaha), my fellow scrappers, my LCC students led by Ryan, my Sibol student Chrishanie, my cousin Jang2, my LCC friend Merasol, FEC representative Eugene, Aysi for posting my entry to her wall, Tito Freddie and family (hahaha!) my BFF Mary An and cousins (lol), my NC Way responsibles Ben and Teray .... it was really really really fun last night i couldn't stop laughing!!! The experience and the thrill was way more valuable than the prize i'd get... it's really true, it's the journey not the destination.. even if i didnt win, I feel victorious because that led me to chat, keep in touch and laugh with many people I didn't realize I have missed so much! :)

Now let's hunt for more challenges! Just kidding! hahaha!

private moments :D

I don't know where my mojo went. Haven't been scrapping lately. I even "forced" myself yesterday to get inspired. I read my supposed to be "inspiring" books, watched Donna Downey's very inspiring videos. I loved what I read and watched. But still I didn't do anything.

Blame it on my latest "business"? I've been crazily in love with this VITAMINS. I love it so much I wish everyone I love are taking these each and everyday! It helped me (my back pains, my arthritis, my skin!, my period, my *secret activities*) a lot. Okay, I'm stopping right here before you get so bored and think I'm  selling these to you (but why not!) hahaha!

Meanwhile, while I was cleaning up my picasa this morning, I saw these pics and laughed. Now I'm laughing again. HAHAHHAHAHAHA! =D

The story behind: On my 36th birthday, one of my friends, Momi Marge gave me a towel set. I found it uber cute because there's one mommy towel and 2 baby towelettes! So there! Can you hear the noise and the chaos during that night inside our little room? LOL...

P.S. Only those who love me have the permission to click the photos for the larger, clearer, and more embarrassing version of the photos. hahahahaha!

Have a great Thursday all... I'm off to Orchard with my bugoys and Mae. Planning to bring my camera :) and take lots of photossssss.... ciao! :)

dirty but fun :)

Saw this post while grocery shopping (queueing) with hubby, and I immediately fell in love with the notebook prize! Hurried home.... looked for an already-printed photo ... made a quick LO!

This one goes to my F.E.C. (fire exit club) friends.. We aren't complete here in this pic. It's the only one I have with some of the members Jules, Dee, Anne, Che2 and me... And There's one guest member: Benjo haha! Why fire exit? It's a looong and beautiful story... maybe I'll post about it one day, but now, let me just share with you my "graffiti inspired", dirty but fun page :)

...i just love cosmo cricket chipboard alphas and embellies!

... getting dirty with paint is super fun! bought 2 colors of MM paints again yesterday.... I used to just envy my siblings and father when they paint. I can't believe I'm loving it now =)

... I misted all over the page... and all over our faces lol! click the photo to zoom and see our blue-misted faces hahaha!

Oh, by the way, I got the notebook :):):) Thank you SASG!

trick or treat!

Happy Halloween!

This year the boys are Captain K and Captain B (which stands for their funny nicknames given by Tita Bing). Until now I grin from ear to ear imagining my adorable superheroes going from house to house claiming their sweets! I couldn't take my eyes off them both. So cute!!! There were a few who took a picture of them! Kuya was shy most of the time but eventually he realized it was great to have all these chocolates, lollipops, and candies! Miguel wouldn't give me his pail and was so willing to walk by himself! hahaha! I am so happy they had so much fun! Although we didn't finish all the houses coz, first, it was drizzling, second, we needed to go in time for the Eucharist and All Saints Day Agape with our NC Way community. But that was fine enough!

{more photos HERE}

Although last year's halloween was special since it was Miguel's first, this year is I think much more special because It was FIRST for the four of us to experience trick or treatin'! Can you believe it? Thank you so much Momi Tin, Pinsan Nomer and Uriel for inviting us! It was truly a very memorable experience! We hope to join again next year. By then I hope I can wear Darna costume? hahahaha! joke!

Life goes on...

So glad to be back. And what made me think a friend I was talking about is back on her feet? WE PLAYED IN YOVILLE! :) She visited my house (In Yoville!) and we did some chit chat while I was feeding Migs and Uji hehehe.

Thank You Lord for the strength you gave Meow and Carey. For the grace to OBEY even if its painful. For the privilige to carry the CROSS. For the PEACE and SERENITY that follow after trusting and just letting go. For the JOY of looking forward to that 'something GREATER' You have prepared in exchange for taking the 'great' that we have.

And for me, I thank you for Yoville! It's really addicting. Time wasting? I also thought so but its worth it. I get to party, work, play, or just have coffee with my siblings and friends(daw tuod2 gid mo!), date with my bf (guess who haha), get to wear two piece!!! shetes! (harakhak), shop til I drop in the furniture store, fashion store, appliance depot, decorate my house, stalk other people's houses without them knowing it hehehe. Lastly and most importantly, I get to train myself on 'saving' for what I dream of. Wait for the launching of my scrapbooking shop (In yoville! hahaha) ... and maybe someday soon, in real life. Who knows? God knows! :)
