beach side breakfast and more ...

Yesterday, husband and I  were so dead tired. It was a happy kind of tired though. If being tired is always that kind, I never mind getting tired everyday =)

Did I just type 'tired' 4 times? That sounds like a tongue twister. lol.

Okay, back to why we were tired. We woke up when it was still dark to prepare for Kuya's birthday. He dislikes parties so we opted for a family breakfast at Sentosa. Hotdogs. Cupcakes. Eggs. He didn't say much but by the way he smiled, laughed, ate, swam, played, hugged, kissed, jumped, ran... I was convinced HE LOVED ALL OF IT.

Us: time to blow the  pretzel  candle!
Yang: time to pose for my cover photo :D

 L.O.V.E.

Autism + Happiness. Yes please.

Chocolates and Cupcakes. All you can eat!
Miguel: Oh yeah!

Need I say more? :)

Dear God. Thank you for our family. Please add a baby girl soon okay? hahaha! :)

Oh say mo sa green tube top. Color of the year!
Don't tell ha. Ukay-ukay na. lol!

After the swim (which took longer than planned because the boys didn't want to stop) we had to rush home in time for their (afternoon) classes and prepare for another birthday surprise for him: cupcakes and goodies for classmates and teachers delivered by Daddy and Mommy! He was so happy we fetched him :)

When we got home. Hubby and I had to prepare to go out again for church. Our celebration was so touching and timely. I held back tears a few times being touched by songs and readings. I Thanked God for giving us Kuya in our life.... for his budget-friendly but super memorable birthday that everyone enjoyed.... I also prayed for my mother who is in the hospital. I felt peace knowing He is in charge and that He allows everything for a reason.

It's really awesome to be this close to God. Feels like being in heaven while still alive.

Thankful Tuesday: Chillax!

I thank You Lord ...

for the peaceful, quiet, family time with my hubby and sons.
for the realization of hubby's longing to do real photo shoot, undisturbed.
for the much-needed me-time with my magazine, fave food, and a pair of shades.
for Miguel's peaceful sleep amidst the beautiful sounds only nature can make.
for the clean rest room when Kuya needed to make number 2 (lol!)
for Kuya's joy in running around freely, seeing a number of airplanes, eating junk food
with Mommy.
for the extra pair of hands that help me, Manang Didang's hands.
for the $9 voucher we used in purchasing our snacks.
for the beautiful park we freely entered and spent the whole afternoon. yes, FREE.
for the realization again and again that in this life, the best things are most of the time free.

Thank You Lord!

Thrifty Thursday: Bondings at Home

Hubby and I love parties! Present crisis cannot get in the way of our wanting to spend time with friends. We can still have fun even with the fact that money gets a little tight these days. How? Instead of going to clubs or restaurants, we do home bondings! We have been having a lot of that these days :)Here's one of the hubby's bondings with his flickr buddies...

Thrifty Thursday: Haircut

Haircut here in a salon costs around
12$ for adults,
10$ for kids.
And they do it in 10 minutes. Huh!

Life goes on...

So glad to be back. And what made me think a friend I was talking about is back on her feet? WE PLAYED IN YOVILLE! :) She visited my house (In Yoville!) and we did some chit chat while I was feeding Migs and Uji hehehe.

Thank You Lord for the strength you gave Meow and Carey. For the grace to OBEY even if its painful. For the privilige to carry the CROSS. For the PEACE and SERENITY that follow after trusting and just letting go. For the JOY of looking forward to that 'something GREATER' You have prepared in exchange for taking the 'great' that we have.

And for me, I thank you for Yoville! It's really addicting. Time wasting? I also thought so but its worth it. I get to party, work, play, or just have coffee with my siblings and friends(daw tuod2 gid mo!), date with my bf (guess who haha), get to wear two piece!!! shetes! (harakhak), shop til I drop in the furniture store, fashion store, appliance depot, decorate my house, stalk other people's houses without them knowing it hehehe. Lastly and most importantly, I get to train myself on 'saving' for what I dream of. Wait for the launching of my scrapbooking shop (In yoville! hahaha) ... and maybe someday soon, in real life. Who knows? God knows! :)

my yoville character :) daw ako gid no? ahihi
